1. Identify your television
Open the manufacturer’s Settings or About screen and note the model number, software version and app-store region. Samsung, LG and Android-based televisions can use different operating systems; a brand name alone is not enough to confirm compatibility.
2. Confirm the approved app
Ask for the exact app name, publisher, supported model years and any separate app charge. Find it through your television’s official store. If it is unavailable, ask for a supported alternative before subscribing.
3. Update and connect
Follow the manufacturer’s software-update instructions. Test the connection using an authorised streaming source. Try a wired connection where supported, or improve Wi-Fi reception if playback stalls.
4. Enter credentials safely
Use only credentials issued for your authorised account. Do not send passwords or activation codes publicly. Check how to sign out and remove access before selling or resetting the television.
5. Resolve playback issues
Note the error, app version, time and affected content. Restart the app and check another authorised source. Ask support before reinstalling or changing account settings.
